Cartoon Network Refresh

Client Cartoon Network
Studio Troika
Role Art Director,
Designer, Animator

Cartoon Network asked Troika to help them organize their global network by codifying the usage of the brand's on-air assets into a Usage Guide. CN was also interested in incorporating some stunning multimedia key art that Bent Image Lab had created for their sales presentation into their on-air look.

Dazzled by the key art and excited to create new systems, Troika's team developed not only a robust, charismatic, and interactive Usage Guide but also a new grid-based visual system called Dimensional, which refreshed the on-air brand. In Dimensional, the key art and the grid are active, with changing depths, scales, and black hole-like portholes, creating an architecture where animation of all mediums are displayed.
As art director I oversaw the project from the client intake interviews through to the on-site delivery in Atlanta, where I presented the guidelines to stakeholders within the network. My role included writing and producing the guidelines, overseeing and working along side the designers and animators on the on-air elements and toolkits.Close Project
